Forms and site awareness...

I was thinking if you can have a application form, an actual one where the user fills out their information and a drop down menu for their class, race, professions etc making our guild more professional so this wont invade their privacy because only the officers and above can view it.

Also i just realized the main site has changed, there should be a better ways of getting the member aware, and looking at the main page I know its Warcraft related and could even know its a guild site ... yet , I see no guild name .
